How Can You Support the Chamber's main fundraiser this year?

Become a Sponsor!
Attached you will find information about being a Christmas Party Sponsor for $1000.  This includes a Bronze Sponsor membership for one year and a corporate table seating for 8 people.   Being a Christmas Party sponsor provides additional visibility to your business.  Normally, about 300 people attend this gala event. 

Buy a Corporate Table!
This is a great opportunity to make the Chamber's Christmas Party a company party for your management team, top sales people, or your whole staff if you're a small business.   Or just invite your close friends or business associates to make a fun-filled night while supporting a worthy cause. Corporate tables are $500 and also seat 8 people.

Donate to the Silent Auction!
Volunteers will be coming around to your business soon to request a donation for the auction.  Items or services with a minimum value of $50 will be greatly appreciated. Your business will be listed in the North Shore News mahalo ad.

Volunteer!

Dear Members and Volunteers,

I want to thank all of you who have supported the Chamber and our mission throughout 2011.

Thank you to our board members, who continue to give generously of their time and resources to support the Chamber. Their dedication to our organization has gotten us through a challenging year and we couldn't have done it without them!

Thank you to our volunteers who staff the visitor center daily, assist with meetings, events and fundraisers.  You are the foundation of our organization, enabling us to accomplish much more than we would without you.

Thank you to our sponsors and donors, who generously supported us at a time when every dollar counts.  Your support is what allows the Chamber to do all we do for our North Shore businesses and in our community.

Thank you to those of you who supported us through membership (individual, corporate, government and nonprofit), through attendance at meetings and events or the Christmas Party, and/or by supporting our legislative efforts.

Hawaiian Airlines video features Haleiwa

A great HD video produced by Hawaiian Airlines' Hawaiian Skies features the charm and uniqueness of Haleiwa. The video features our own volunteers Francis Forsythe and Boyd Ready. It tells the history of and what to see and do in Haleiwa Town.

Visitor Center Volunteers Needed

Are you interested in spending a couple of hours each week staffing the Visitor Center at our new building  and helping with special projects and events?  If you're available for a shift lasting two hours weekly, please contact  us..  Training will be provided.  Interest in the history of the area is very helpful. 

Stop by  our office across from the Haleiwa Post Office or give us a call at 637-4558. You can also just fill out the Volunteer Application  and fax it to 637-4556 or mail it to us and we'll call you. 
A big mahalo goes out to our faithful volunteers who keep the office open from 1:00 to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday: Geri Takahashi Guillemot, Sherry Heiser, Barbara Hay Santos, Jenny Turner, and Alice Rogers.  All are long-time residents.  Our goal is to open at 11:00 am each day. 

Please help us reach our goal of having office hours that will meet the community's needs better and help the Chamber become more financially sustainable through increased Business Services income.

Volunteer to Finish Painting and Landscaping

Aloha Members,

We will be having another painting workday this Saturday (8th) from 8am to 12noon. We are almost half done and the building is beginning to look really sharp. Lots of compliments on how it's shaping up. Please email me back if you can volunteer, even if it is a couple of hours. "Many hands make light work!" A big mahalo goes out to Matt Eagle (Aloha Surf Guide), Joe Lazar (Haleiwa Joe's), Johnny Moore (Grass Skirt Grill) for volunteering this past Saturday. We got a lot done.

The following Saturday, the 15th, we will be having a joint Chamber and Waialua Community Assoc. landscaping workday. We will be trimming the white birds, replanting the ground cover, fixing the borders, planting shrubs, weeding and cleaning up along the hibiscus hedge, etc. Work gloves, sun screen and covered shoes are recommended. Trucks that can make dump runs will be appreciated. A potluck will follow the workday.

We hope you will join us for some work and fellowship in making our community a better place to live and moving us closer to having a presence on main street with a visitor center.
