Just a reminder that there is a membership meeting tomorrow at Waimea Valley, Pikake Pavilion at 8AM. The guest speaker will be Katie Kastner from Historic Hawaii Foundation on "Why Heritage Tourism is Good for a Destination like the North Shore." Please see attached agenda.

Preservation Awareness Day

March 5, 2008

Historic Hawaii Foundation (HHF) sponsored a recent event to bring awareness to the legislature of the importance of Historic Preservation and preserving our heritage. Haleiwa Main Street had a table displaying some of the North Shore's historic buildings including four that are on the National and State Registers.
