Sunset Homes' owner going ahead with North Shore project

Juliana Simone, owner of Sunset Homes, is moving ahead with plans to develop Anahulu Centre, a three-story commercial building along Kamehameha Highway on Oahu’s North Shore.
The Haleiwa landowner bought the 7,299-square-foot lot at 66-030 Kamehameha Highway seven years ago to build the Anahulu Centre. The parcel is behind an existing single-story building that houses her real estate firm.

The tiny structure was built in 1932 and once was the site of a First Hawaiian Bank branch

2nd Annual Business Expo - October 28th

Aloha Members,

Hold the Date!! The Second Annual Business Expo Presented by First Hawaiian Bank and hosted by the North Shore Chamber of Commerce will be held at Turtle Bay Resort on Wednesday, October 28th. Howard Dicus will be the keynote speaker at lunch. Karen Campbell from Waialua Soda Works has done a great job again of lining up a variety of wonderful speakers and Bob Boyle of Turtle Bay Resort will provide us with scruptious food at breakfast lunch and dinner in a beautiful and comfortable conference setting.

This is an all-day affair, so be sure to mark your calendars now! More information will be provided soon.

Mayor Confirmed to be Keynote Speaker at Business Expo

Aloha Members,

We just confirmed with the Mayor’s office that he will be the keynote speaker next Tuesday, October 21, 2008 at the Business Expo hosted by the Turtle Bay Resort. This is a great opportunity for members to hear what the Mayor has to say and learn from expert speakers on 9 topics that will help you take your business to the next level. This is all for the nominal fee of $20 for the whole day and it includes breakfast, lunch and cocktail reception as well as all the seminars.

I know it’s a stretch for many of you to leave your business for a whole day or send one or more employees, but you’ll be glad you did it!

So please get your registration and seminar sign-up forms in right away, but no later than Friday, October 17, 2008.
